The GUTS+ System

All the information about and updates for the GUTS+ RPG System (still in development)

What is the GUTS+ System?

The GUTS+ System is a role-playing game system in the spirit of Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder, but simplified to focus more on collaborative storytelling and free-form play.

Rather than having set skills, GUTS+ focuses on individual stats giving your character the ability to do things, and if they don't have a specific stat, their success at performing tasks is dependent upon their base stats: Gumption, Utility, Thought, and Slyness.

GM Handbook Update

After thinking about what to include and how to structure it, I finally spent some time writing the Game Master’s Handbook. Right now, it’s not fully featured, but it has at least the basic information, much like the Player’s Handbook. If you want to get started as a Game Master,...

Originally, I had just built the sheet in HTML, but that came with a lot of limitations and made it difficult to output into a nice, printable format. This time, I created the sheet pages with a vector...
